Trenitalia: Refund and Exchange Policy

What is the policy for exchange and refund?

- Eurail passes are refundable at 85% in one condition; the ticket must be unused and must returned to the address mentioned below within 12 months from the issued date.

- TCV tickets are 85% refundable when gotten at the address mentioned below 7 days before the train departure date. 

- Train Tickets: Many Trenitalia train tickets are non-refundable and don't consider change. Some train tickets are 75%-80% refundable if cancelled within 3 days post booking period and notification is received by ItaliaRail. For printed tickets must be returned within 7 days of procurement date on order, such tickets must be gotten back to address mentioned below. 

- Pass Exchanges: Pass exchange must be made through the address mentioned below. Once your request is received in the appropriate your pass will be exchange immediately. On the off chance that there is a rate increment, you must pay the difference in price plus, a $15.00USD exchange fee, and new delivery charges. In the event that there is decrease in price, you will be charged a 15% cancellation penalty on the old pass, the charge of the new pass plus, another delivery charges.

- Ticket Exchanges: Requests to change electronic tickets must be made at least 72 hours before flight or at self-assistance machines inside the train station. What happened if there is a train strike?
