Bollocks!

A brilliant word, one I can really appreciate. Bollocks! The expression seems to be explicitly reserved for the male vocabulary, or have you ever heard a lady utter this word? I can just picture him now, the pompous guy who blurts this out at least a hundred times a day. With his receding hairline and the centre of gravity right in front of him, obliging him to hang a little backward for fear of toppling over and falling on his face. Pronounced with just the right amount of disdain, it will leave the man’s circle of acquaintances either in awe or in utter frustration. Stuck-up in a rather constipated way he affects his surroundings with his gloomy views, in the event draining all joy of life.

Despite charming Mr. Blobby’s insistence  to deprive the world of its beauty with his depreciatory remarks, I remain attracted and drawn to the word that signifies a light attitude and the refusal to take matters too seriously. So whenever Mr. Know-it-all passes judgement and I happen to be the victim of his crabby temper, why, quite contrary to his intentions I think I will be flattered, savouring the word. Bollocks!

Bollocks is very very British. So is your English.
I can't help loving that word. :-)
Queen's English indeed.

Don't you just love the word?
