My assignment 2 for van der Bilt university: Student thinking at the core

My quick note, on the forum... It's my assignment for Student thinking at the core.

1. We all need best of ourselves. We need to become an aplus student, with leveraging and personal growth. I believe that. It's how I came to coursera. By offering many more modules then normally I can learn like a wikipedia's world the words in blue i can click to find more informartion... only here its the next module and certificate. I know now a lot more then normally i learn in schools. In schools there 6 subjects and now ya "it" while they aint true at all... I am "it" when i have done all I can.

2. I see thats a personal idea, and luck to become a better student. The willing is a part of learning. Leverage ideas are great to open the willing to learn as we cognitivly learn more by asking many more personal questions to the students... Also to myself when i teach, I wonder more in this style and want to be more. It opens conversations.

3. I see the need to all be ourselves. I study psychology, finished my study to be a therapist already some years ago. From there I saw 2 groups of people. 2 ways to become a plus in their fields... the groups that cant study well and have less iq then the other group... and the higher iq also able to leverage. I almost felt why are we giving the first group to much attention. As they have reached their own personal a... comparable to the higher iq group its not showing as an a plus at all. But these in group 1, to call them group 1 are the main focus at the moment here in my country. If i am a psychologist in this country all expect me to teach as an extra in schools these children. OR to be a dsm... while i like to be a scientist developing ideas and research.

But all parents want extra help for their kids, all teachers want many extra help in the class, and before we knew it each 24 kids had at the same time 4 teachers in class.. it was to expensive so now there is 1 teacher again... and many feel there isnt "help enough"

In my communication part only in my psychology classes, I can find enough answers for the 3 missing extra help, which each class doesnt need. Its a huge communication going wrong if a child is mis understood when it needs 4 teachers in class.. to my idea. A teacher isnt a teacher anymore. But a little help. Here in this country i find them not leveraging enough. It starts with asking, opening up ideas, making the work interesting, more fitting in the worlds of the children. Thats a teachers task. Not with 4 teachers.

when a singer sings all alone for 20.000 people. Why cant a teacher do the that same amount of kids? ITs something in this artist thats interesting enough. I think leveraging starts with questioning ourselves, then the children.

In psychology I learned that using questions and making the subject interesting, fitting to the childs world is the basic of teaching. I think leveraging is either, as this is quite the same.

A note. A brain develops, it makes tracks inside with information. First 23 years is the basics they develop, them after we create side tracks... beyond basics...

We start with just vowels, just a soup world. All mixed... then we learn the starts of the basics, mommy daddy, grandpa, grandma etc and all in the house

then all in the houses of all attached to the fam, so the network is explorered and nature outside.

Then school comes, to talk shortly about this... Cause there are some things kids learn in the basic, like drumming with blocks, and lego etc.

Many little starts... From here kids further develop... more words for the same... counting the things we know...

so till the first reading year, kids have gained words. Smart kids and parents gained more words normally then people with less interest in growing and learning, and with less iq... so a will and capability is to differ and to further investigate when you want to know whats the difference in families worlds and why.

A scale from wanting not wanting to wanting but not able, and wanting and able...

Somewhere this child in class is on my scales and grows up at home and in class. Also it learns at daycare or after school care till the parents are home.

All places where kids in nature should be outside, freely, discovering, and arent naturally outside discovering anymore, thats a note on this idea of what humans really are...

In this growing up, in this idea of "we are naturally who we are..." People discovering, and people that need 23 years to develop the basics in our brains, to be named adult and a child thats "finished"(after 23 years we are first time users of the complete basics, so to my opinion less adult then a adult that has run the complete system in his brains many times)

So a child studies, with a teacher rather with leverage, and open communication, to discover more of the world... then a child just becoming an a, with many teachers, and many repeats on the material, without discovering, without questions leverage brings.

Else an A- student is comparable to the student with less iq and had 4 teachers in one class to sit on the side and "help"... means "tell"...

To much effort, on the "must learn", gives to less real learning.

I would suggest classes for high iq mid iq and low iq... all same behaviour to accomplish like none hitting none spitting and scratching etc ;)  But mainly in 3 groups of honest difference, so the children are in their group they belong... with people that care about their inside... their iq their ahead on others or behind on others, and their needs, not as if they are sick needing 4 teachers to repair a disease... school isnt a hospitol... to fix kids...

Its a place where we question, and built knowledge... indeed as i read in this class, history for example can have many different ideas on how things really happend. We learn for the test, a certain believe about history, but it could have been different... so we learn about main ideas, ideas not seen by many and our own ideas... Thats leverage, and actually logical... as we are who we are with our own opnions, we learn about others and ourselves. What wins in science and what not. But also learn to gain books and ideas about our own findings. Thats in the end anyway an aplus student. Which goes to university to gain a book or 10 on this topic for the other people. All about their findings on this studied topic. So its extremely a must to do leverage. To open the world in schools on why do some not question themselves...? Or arent as capable to be thinking about things as much as others.

If we test on a test 10 questions, or test what a child can come up with... we see the iq differences as well better...

there are then 3 groups of children low iq, really not able to ask to much, cause they get overwhelmed, they should be asked less and remain in the basic questions, and wondering about topics, a mid iq group, which can gain knowledge with questionings and wonderings and can find if the information can fit in their worlds better and are capable of gaining little things on this topic they learn.
and a high iq class that does this questioning faster then normal, and is in the end capable of gaining new books... and able to work in the top of this field they learn today about...

I think leveraging goes along with iq differences, for the saftey of low iq children that need to be questioned and are"equal" but they can not handle as much...

High iq handle more questions and should be asked more...to not feel dull... with leveraging we see the iq levels, and levels of what is thought... kids with high iq but not so good teachers, can drop in iq tests as if they arent smart...

so this open field, of who we really are, can become more important to my opnion, including leveraging. As a main tool in classes.

I use leveraging in my therapy already years, its the main idea of this therapy, its a therapy about the unconcious psychology in human...

All about aksing things, and see where a person stresses or not... to make a person more strong, we focus on things they are strong about and we create understandings on how to make things we feel weak about strong.

So leverage is used to get to the core of the people, the core of problems. I actually thought all need to learn about leveraging. Is a need, in human communication. so i love the idea schools are working on this. As every child has fewer problems when it knows him or herself. School, education gains on the start of the basics we learned as a baby and little child. We questioned many questions to each baby and little child, that should remain in childhood at school... to be able to understand the information we see, and to give it a place in the mind.
Then we train what we have learned, to become an a student, with our own knowledge on the side we understand the tests we take and are capable of getting a's...

Thank you for this course.
